I once wrote a post with answers to questions that people had asked in order to arrive on Ginger Snaps. There have been many new questions since then, so I decided to choose ten for a sequel.
A) No, you just have to show up and do your best! However, being good at Jiu-Jitsu is hard, and it usually takes awhile. It’s also kind of painful and exhausting, but totally worth it!
Q) can you have chiropractic adjustment with a femoral stress fracture?
A) Dammit, Jim, I’m a ginger, not a doctor!
Q) ginger snaps soft or hard?
A) Hard. Very, very hard.
A) Well, maybe hard on the outside, soft on the inside.
Q) jiu jitsu how to train your forearms to not get tired in competition?
A) You put your right arm in, you put your right arm out, you put your right arm in, and you shake it all about, you do the hokey pokey, and you turn yourself about, that’s what it’s all about.
Q) conan what is best in life?
A) To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, yada yada yada, and Jiu-Jitsu.
Q) how do you stop eye poking from a rear naked choke?
A) Stop putting your fingers in their eyes.
A) Because my name is Inigo Montaya, and you killed my father, prepare to die!
Q) how to be sneaky sparring?
A) Be very, very quiet.
Q) why no one wants to roll bjj with me?
Probably because you suck, but if you come to Lincoln BJJ Center, I will roll with you! Unless you’re stinky, or you have cooties, or you’re a bully, or you say or do inappropriate things, or you have an ego problem, or you generally exhibit any kind of excessively rude or questionable behavior…or you are one of my seven evil exes.
