Lincoln BJJ is growing!

I ♥ Lincoln Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center!During the beginner BJJ class last Thursday, I worked with the same teenager as I had the week before, but I’m afraid it might be the last time, because the kids’ classes began at Lincoln BJJ this week! In addition to the kids’ classes starting, they also added a few more adult classes to the schedule at Lincoln BJJ, and it’s exciting to see our school grow!

It seems like there are more new students at every beginner class I go to, and a high percentage of them have been sticking around. I try to make a point of learning everyone’s names, but lately there have been so many new faces that I can’t keep track! Things are really looking great for the future, and it feels pretty cool to have gotten in on the ground floor at LBJJC.

So, if you’ve been thinking about trying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but you weren’t able to make it to any of the classes on the old schedule, the newest classes are:

  • Tuesday, 12:00pm-1:00pm- Beginner class, Gi
  • Friday, 6:00am-7:15am- All levels class, Gi
  • Sunday, 2:00pm-3:00pm- Beginner class, No Gi

Additionally, the Saturday open mat session will be moving to later time slot (12:00pm-2:00pm) to accommodate the kids’ classes, which are:

  • Monday and Wednesday, 4:40pm-5:20pm- ages 4-9,  5:30pm-6:20pm- ages 10-15
  • Saturday, 9:10-9:50am- ages 4-9, 10:00am-10:50am- ages 10-15

All new students get a free week trial, and there are no contracts! I’m personally most excited for the Sunday no gi class, because I know I need more no gi training, but I don’t know if I’m ready for the advanced class, so it’s nice to have a beginner no gi class on the schedule now. I’m pretty sure this is just the start of more classes being added to the schedule at Lincoln BJJ, and hopefully all of them will be full of happy students!
